He received financial credit worth $370 million from the United States Department of Energy for purchasing these companies. But, unfortunately, it was later revoked due to growing political tension between the US and Russia.
Between 2004 and 2014, he, alongside Severstal, has invested up to $3 billion in both the Dearborn and Columbus manufactory.
