Then, when he was 15, he performed the first climb of Echale, ranking it 8B+ (V14).

Daniel Woods V17

Daniel was once considered the strongest boulderer in the World. In March, he made V17 Return of the Sleepwalker, a near-mythical grade not long ago.

Nalle Hukkataival was the first to affix V17 (9A). Moreover, there were only two other proposed V17s: No Kpote Only and Big Island Sit.

Woods first started trying what would become Return of the Sleepwalker in late January and early February 2019.

He announced this through an Instagram post on February 7. The sit start “adds in a three-move v12 straight into the stand,” Woods wrote at the time.
