Karla Souza was born in the Mexican City to a Mexican mother, Monica Souza, and a Chilean father.

However, she moved and lived in Aspen, Colorado, until she was eight years old.

She went to school and classes all over the places around the world. Initially, she studied acting at Centro de Educacion Artistica in Mexico City.
