According to the New York Post, Lauren Hilty death cause is found to be due to a plane crash.
Lauren was traveling in a float plane with her husband and daughter when their plane crashed in Puget, Washington, on Sunday, September 4, 2022. The aircraft was supposed to land at Renton Municipal Airport.
According to the Daily Mail, one of the plane crash witnesses reported that he first saw the plane crashing into the water, and then there was a massive explosion. Though the reason behind the accident is unknown, U.S. Coast started its search for the bodies as soon as they reported the accident.
The plane had 10 passengers, and only one body has been found until now. Also, the U.S. Coast Guard released the name of the passengers on September 6, 2022.
Lauren and her family must have been on vacation but unfortunately lost their lives to the sudden plane crash, and their bodies have not been found yet.

Lauren Hilty’s husband was Ross Andrew Mikel.
Ross was a winemaker who founded a Woodinville- based Wine business called Ross Andrew Winery. The wine business piqued Roo’s interest during a fishing trip in 1996, and in 1999, Ross founded his own wine company with his family.
Now talking about Ross’s relationship with his wife Lauren, the pair went to the same University and must have fallen in love during that course. However, Ross was previously married and even had children. But later was divorced and got married to Lauren in 2011.
Furthermore, Lauren loved Ross’s sons as her own. She was often seen posting cute pictures with the boys. Nonetheless, Ross and Lauren welcomed their firstborn (daughter) on February 3, 2010. Her name was Lyla Mickel. As of 2022, Lyla was only 12 years old.
But unfortunately, Lauren, her husband Ross, and daughter Lyla lost their lives in a plane crash. According to The U.S. Sun, Lauren was pregnant with a son. And they were planning to name him Luca. Furthermore, the family lived in Bellevue, Washington.
As of now, the family is mourning the death of 4 members of their family. The family told the press, “they are unfortunate and beyond devasted to lose their beloved Ross, Lauren, their daughter, and unborn son.” They added that their collective grief is unimaginable.

Megan and Lauren were born and raised in Bellevue, Washington, by Jack Hilty (father) and Doona Hilty (mother). Additionally, they have one more sister Kristine Hilty. The sisters shared an extraordinary bond.
In 2019, Megan shared a post with her sisters and mother in Australia and captioned it as “We are fa-mi-ly. I got all my sisters (and my Mom & Dad) with me! I can’t believe in two days I’ll be singing at the Sydney Opera House!!!”
But now, as her sister Lauren, brother-in-law Ross and niece Lyla died, the actress has gone numb.
