However, fans noticed the absence of one couple, who would usually grace such events, from all the Diwali bashes. It was the popular couple of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
It led to the speculations that things were not going well between the two and the separation rumors left their fans heartbroken. Shortly after, the duo dismissed those rumors with their social media PDA.
Zee News reports that Ranveer has been traveling regularly due to his work while Deepika is taking a break. She is only focusing on her work commitments and does not want to attend the parties alone. That might explain their current lack of public appearances.
It Was Not The First Rumor Of The Couple’s Split
In September, another rumor was spreading about an apparent split between the Ranveer and Deepika. It all started when a Twitter account named Umair Sandu claimed that the pair had been facing troubles and was about to call it quits.
The tweet shared that a major reason was Deepika’s struggle with mental health. The Tamasha actress, who is vocal about her battle with depression, was recently taken to the hospital after collapsing on the sets for an upcoming film.
A few weeks ago, a similar report was circulating after Deepika was admitted to a hospital following uneasiness, which further added fuel to the Fire.
A source close to the actors revealed that the viral tweet was fake and done from an unverified account. The insider added that they were trying to reach out to the user and expected action against the user Umair Sandhu.
Where Is The Ranveer-Deepika Couple Now?
Recently, at an event, Ranveer Singh spoke highly of his wife and revealed that fans would quickly catch a glimpse of the couple in a project, referring to it as a ‘sweet surprise.’
At the moment, both Ranveer and Deepika appear busy with their professional schedules. Deepika recently shared a poster of India’s first aerial action film, Fighter, which will release on January 25, 2024.
Likewise, we will see Ranveer in upcoming projects like Cirkus, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and Takht. Both Deepika and Ranveer are cast members in the latter.
In August this year, the duo purchased a luxurious sea-facing bungalow in Alibaug, India. The massive bungalow will be their second home or serve as a holiday home.
