Elizabeth Daily is one of the renowned and loved actresses with amazing talent in acting.

With a role in the film ‘Juke Box’ in the late 1970s, she began her acting career (1978).

As an aspiring actress, Eg had roles in Streets of Fire, Valley Girl, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, The Escape Artist, and different 80’s movies.

Elizabeth signed a contract with A&M in 1985, and a year later, in 1986, the label released the single “Say It, Say It” alongside her debut album, Wild Child. The producers of Wild Child were Harold Faltermeyer, Benitez, and Keith Forsey.

The people who bought Wild Child in the ’80s after hearing “Say It, Say It” on the radio quickly realized that the album had a lot more to do with pop/rock than dance-pop or urban contemporary.

The only dance-oriented album is Eg’s remake of Donna Summer’s “Sunset People.” It wasn’t released as a single, but it drew the attention of DJs in some dance clubs.

Furthermore, Wild Child’s second single was chosen as “Love in the Shadows,” a pop/rock song. Even though it wasn’t a super hit like “Say It, Say It,” the public did consider Daily’s talent.

Elizabeth proceeded to record for A&M in the late ’80s, when her sophomore album was released, named “Lace Around the Wound“. However, Daily parted ways with A&M and later only recorded one album in the 1990s.

After disappearing for about ten years from recording, Eg Daily returned to the studio in 1999. It continued producing the introspective, confessional pop/rock album called “Tearing Down the Walls” with Harvey Mason Jr and Brad Gilderman.
