Jeongyeon stopped receiving promotions after having surgery for a herniated disk in her neck. She repeatedly endured the agony while continuing.

She worried her admirers by gaining weight. She appeared as though she might find the choreography difficult given the state of her body, but her enthusiasm was unequaled even when compared to the other participants.

According to ‘Entertainment times, ‘ Jeongyeon informed her followers via the group’s messaging app, Bubble, and offered a sincere regret for missing out on the events making an apology. e wrote, promising her response. She makes a comeback only when she recovers fully and is also informed to update about her health condition.

According to Soompi, Jeongyeon confessed she suffers from a herniated neck disc. The artist also admitted that she started to feel shooting pains when she made the MORE & MORE music video.

She had numbness that extended to her ear as they were recording the song video for the track “MORE & MORE.” when the incident happened right after, she decided to visit the hospital once again since when I had previously been very few times, the medical experts assured that everything was fine with her.

After learning about her condition, the singer decided to go to a specialty hospital. She reported that she underwent an operation. 

Jeongyeon told supporters that she was already feeling better, despite the frightening news. She has been doing much better than before. When she visited the hospital and received treatment, she assured her fan about her neck treatment and told them not to worry.

Jeongyeon is one of the original members of the Korean boy band Twice. She made his debut in October 2015 with the release of their initial extended play, The Story Begins. Their first single, “Like Ooh-Ahh,” became the first K-pop song to launch with 100 million YouTube views.

Jeongyeon won the Debut Award at the 2016 SBS Entertainment Awards. She and her bandmate Nayeon ranked among the top 20 most liked idols in South Korea. The duo co-hosted the South Korean music show Inkigayo from July 2016 to January 2017.
