He was awarded the Backstage West Garland Award for Outstanding Performance for his portrayal of a piano prodigy in Old Wicked Songs, which had performances at the Promenade Theater in New York and the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.

He made his television series debut in Jack and Jill. He also featured as Andy Botwin on the Showtime Television show series Weeds alongside former costar Marylouise Parker.
