Marco Jensen was born in a family of 6 in Klerksdorp, South Africa. 

He shared his childhood with his twin brother and 2 sisters, Binance and Leandro Jensen. Jansen was born in a Christian family as a son of Koos Jansen and Erna Pretorious. However, there is no confirmation regarding the player’s ethnicity.
