According to People, one year after their marriage Omari and Jennifer welcomed their daughter, Nova, to the family. The couple was very excited to be parents.

After bringing Nova into this world just a couple of years after, they officially announced another child. Eventually, Omari and Jennifer welcomed their first son.

Hardwick lost his two other siblings soon after losing his unborn child.

His parents named him Omari Latif Hardwick to set a precedent, Omari meaning ‘most high’ and Latif meaning ‘gentle.’

In addition, he has written over 4000 poems and was able to secure a position in the top five U.S. national poetry Slam competitions in 2003 and 2004.

Omar attended Marist School in Brookhaven, Georgia, for his high school and the University of Georgia on football sponsorship.
