Sean Astin’s wife, Christine Harrel, is an actress known for her work as an Academy Award-nominated producer on Kangaroo Court (1994).
The fifty-five-year actress is also well-known for being Vice President and C.E.O. of Lava Entertainment.
After about a year of knowing each other, Sean and his wife, Harrel, tied the knot on July 11, 1992.
The gorgeous Harrel also held the Miss Indiana Teen U.S.A. title in 1984. Likewise, she also has worked on his husband’s creation, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, in a cameo role as Elanor Gamgee.

Who Is Sean Astin Dad?
Sean Astin was born to his mother, Patty Duke, and dad Michael Tell, on February 25, 1971. However, news regarding Desi Arnaz Jr. being his Father came to the media.
During the time, Duke had a personal relationship with Tell; hence, she was unsure if Arnax or Tell was her child’s Father.
Thus, to get out of the scandal, she married Tell, which lasted thirteen days in 1970. They ended their relationship before Sean was born.
After two years, Duke married actor John Astin with whom she had been in a relationship for two years. At the wedding, the eighteen-month-old Sean cried, looked at John, and said, “Daddy!” Hence, Sean got adopted.
Sean got to know about Arnaz when he was fourteen. They two developed relations and were good at each other. But when Sean was in his twenties, he heard about Tell and his relationship as father-son.
Though Astin knew to Tell to be his real Father, his relationship with Arnaz remained the same, and he said, “Desi Arnaz Jr. loves me, and I love him. We are so close … Science tells me … that he’s not my biological Father. Science tells me that Mike Tell is.”
