The former married duo first met on the set of Kulvaddhu. It was not love at first sight. Instead, the pair became gradually over time. They won the reality show Nach Baliye 4 and were awarded the trophy and a cheque for big price money by the legendary actor Shahrukh Khan.
Immediately after winning the reality show, the ex-couple decided to give their bond a new level and tied the knot on 9 December 2009. Everything appeared alright and enviable.
However, Shalin Bhanot’s ex-wife later disclosed that her marriage was in trouble the next day she exchanged the wedding vows. As reported by Bollywoodshaadis, Dalljiet claimed that her mother-in-law stopped talking to her as she wasn’t happy with the wedding gifts.
The actress also said that status-wise, Shalin and she was on a different level. Dalljiet Kaur’s Father couldn’t afford the wedding the other Party expected. The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon performer claimed that her real struggle started when she got pregnant.
As per the former Mrs. Bhanot, she developed severe asthma, and her then-life partner had no idea as he never accompanied her to the doctor for check-ups.
On the other hand, Shalin simply denied all the accusations.
