Boji Fati and Ludres Fati are Ansu Fati’s parents.
His parents were Guinea-Bissau, West Africa residents, and even making a simple living was hard for the family. The couple married at a young age and didn’t have much age difference. After specific years of marriage, they were blessed with 5 children, 3 sons, and two daughters.
His father was an aspiring African footballer at that time and while his struggles to get into the national football team were on, the country faced a massive crisis due to the civil war. Hence, as the family’s head, Boji fled to Portugal in 2003. He played in some minor leagues but didn’t earn enough to support his family.
So he then migrated to Seville, Spain, after knowing the country was offering jobs to the immigrants. However, he didn’t get the job and faced some worst days of his life. Nonetheless, he was later handed the position as the Mayor’s driver.
After that job, Ansu’s father moved his wife and five children to Seville, Spain. Ansu Fatio was six years old when he migrated from West Africa to Spain.
Hence, the footballer’s parents had to struggle hard for the life they are now living. However, Ansu Fati and other children have appreciated the parent’s hard work and made them proud.
Today, Bodi Fati and Lurdes Fati have gained fame and media attention because of their second child Ansu.
Ansu Fati Family: What Is His Ethnicity?
The Barcelona-based footballer lives in Barcelona, Spain, with his family.
Though he is now a Spanish citizen, he was born in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau. He spent six years of his life in his homeland and later migrated to Sevilla in 2008.
So Ansu’s ethnicity is often inquired about; he comes from a Guinea-Bissau origin.
Talking more about his family, he has four siblings; 2 brothers (Miguel Fati and Braima Fati) and two sisters (Djney Fati and Djucu Fati).
According to an online portal, Ansu’s elder brother Braima is also a football player. While Ansu was dreaming about being a footballer, his brother was signed by Sevilla Football Club.
However, after working hard for his passion, Ansu too got signed by Sevilla Football and later by Barca FC.
Currently, the youngest sibling Miguel Fati is also following in his elder brothers’ footsteps. He is only 11 years at present but is already working hard.
Why Did Ansu Fati Apologise?
The 19 years old, Fati apologized to his opponent team Cadiz on 10th September 2022.
According to the Daily Mail, one stadium’s fans suffered a heart attack, and the game was halted for an hour.
However, when the game resumed, the footballer scored his third goal after only 5 minutes. However, because the situation had tense everyone, his goal was not celebrated, and Ansu, too, apologized to the audience.
