Arie decided to break off his engagement to the first-place winner, Becca, to focus on his relationship with Lauren.

After a few weeks, Arie called off their engagement, despite his initial decision to pursue Lauren instead of Becca Kufrin. He popped the question to her at the After the Final Rose concert.

They both moved to Arizona together in March. They bought a House in Phoenix, Arizona, for $2,607 in April 2018. They were given a homeowner’s certificate on June 24, 2018.

On November 14, 2018, they made their first child’s impending arrival public. 

On January 5, 2019, they announced they were expecting a girl. On May 29, 2019, Alessi Ren, their child, was born.

They married on January 12, 2019, at Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii. Chris Harrison officiated their wedding.

In April 2020, they found out they were expecting their second child. Unfortunately, during the pregnancy, there was a miscarriage. On December 19, 2020, they announced they were expecting a second child.

According to reports, twins are due on July 3, 2020, or December 21, 2020. On January 19, 2021, they announced that a boy and a girl were expecting. Senna James and Lux Jacob were delivered via c-section on June 11, 2021.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. Family Life Explored

Luyendyk was born in the Netherlands; her parents are Arie and Mieke Luyendyk.

Former Dutch race car driver The Flying Dutchman, also known as Arie Luijendijk, won the Indianapolis 500 in 1990 and 1997. 

He was inducted into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame in 2009 and the American Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2014.

Luyendyk won seven Indy car races, including three in the CART series, all of which were held on oval courses.

When he was three years old, his family—including his sister Maida—moved to Brookfield, Wisconsin. The younger twin brothers of Luyendyk, Alec and Luca, are also twins.

When he began competing in 1992, Luyendyk’s first motorsport was kart racing. He switched from the Formula Ford club competition at 16 to the Sports Car Club of America competition.

He participated in numerous junior formula races across the country, winning the Skip Barber Formula Dodge series and finishing in the top five of the U.S. Formula Ford 2000 Championship.

Luyendyk won the SCCA Southern Pacific divisional championship in 2001 and, as a result of four victories in the Formula Continental class, finished third in the SCCA National Championship Runoffs.
