The nondenominational wedding ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Betty L. Thomas, a bride’s aunt, at Lagoon Pond in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts.

Cassandra Tribble earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan after graduating with honors from Howard University. She is the daughter of Detroit residents Sandra L. Lynch and Tobias A. Tribble Jr.

Claude Johnson earned a mechanical engineering master’s degree from Stanford University after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University. He is the son of Dr. Charles Johnson of Thetford, Vermont, and Marianne Johnson of Watertown, Massachusetts.

Cornelius Johnson Parents Age Gap

Claude Johnson and Cassandra Tribble were married when Claude was 35 and Cassandra was 32 years old. This indicates that the couple’s age difference is less than three years.

When Claude married, he discovered that when his wife, Cassandra, was younger, she was a bit of a tomboy, sporty, and quick. Before Title IX, most of her girlfriends in Detroit’s inner city were more focused on music, fashion, and beauty than on going out for the track team.

Similarly, Carnegie is a 9th grader. He has won a Pop Warner football national title as a running back-wideout and an AAU Division I basketball national championship as a point guard.
