Randy Moss is a former American football player who played in the NFL for 14 seasons. He played as a wide receiver and is widely regarded by many as the most excellent wide receiver of all time.

Is Randy Moss Still In Jail?

After being charged with two crimes for shoving traffic police with his automobile a half-block, Randy Moss recently left jail.

Despite previous issues, the Minnesota Vikings announced that their star will still start Sunday’s game against Seattle.

Randy Moss left the Hennepin County jail where he had spent the night on Wednesday while whistling. He was accused of driving negligently and disobeying a traffic official. Police claimed to have uncovered a trace amount of marijuana in Moss’ car, enough to be considered a petty misdemeanor, but no charges have yet been brought.

What Did He Do? Arrest And Charge

The 25-year-old Moss has already been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. This is not the first time he has encountered difficulty on and off the pitch. In 1999, he sprayed a referee with a water bottle (for which the NFL fined him $25,000); in 2001, he angrily attacked business sponsors on the team bus. When it happened a second time, the team fined him $15,000 and had him do anger management lessons, which he eventually dropped. In 1995, he received a scholarship at Notre Dame, but it was revoked after he was accused of assaulting a high school student. Moss was given a 30-day jail term after entering a guilty plea to violence.

He attended Florida State but was expelled from the team for consuming marijuana while on probation, which resulted in one month of time served. Moss wasn’t available to the media at the team’s practice facility, but his coach stated that Moss had apologized to his team after practice and would issue a statement. Later, Moss strolled through the reporters whistling, saying, “You’ll hear my side later; I was mistreated.”

Where Is Randy Moss Now?

Randy ended his career with 982 receptions, 15,292 receiving yards, and 156 receiving touchdowns when he retired following the 2012 campaign. In 1993, Randy married Libby Offutt, and their relationship experienced its share of highs and lows. He was briefly detained in 1996 on suspicion of domestic violence.

However, the couple later reunited, and Offutt dropped the accusations. It was short-lived, though, as the pair continued to struggle and eventually decided to call it quits around 2010. Later in 2015, Randy wed Lydia Moss, now his wife.

Since then, Randy has been married, and the two have had a pretty great marriage. However, few specifics regarding their marriage are known, and the couple prefers to keep their affairs private.
