Following Bridges’ arrest in Los Angeles on a felony domestic abuse accusation on Wednesday, Mychelle Johnson, the wife of former Hornets big Miles Bridges, released a statement and many pictures on Friday.

Following an alleged violent incident with Johnson on Tuesday night, Bridges handed himself in to the Los Angeles Police department. Less than 48 hours after the incident, Johnson commented on it on Instagram and published images showing evidence of the wounds she got during her struggle with Bridges.

On June 28, Bridges and Johnson got into a physical fight, resulting in the call for the Police. When the Police arrived, they noted that Johnson needed medical assistance and reported that Bridges had left the area before the LAPD arrived. 

After spending a few hours in detention, Bridges was released after posting bond on a $130,000 bail.

Bridges spent his first four seasons in Charlotte after being selected by the Hornets in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft. Since the NBA’s free agency period began on Thursday night, he is currently an unsigned free agent.

In response to Thursday morning’s declaration of the basketballer’s arrest, Charlotte released a statement.

Two kids were born to Miles and Mychelle. On October 26, 2018, their first child, Ace, was born, and their second child Ayla on February 23, 2020.

Mychelle and Miles began dating in 2016. After some years of dating, the pair got hitched. It is unknown when they got married. Mychelle has made serious accusations against her husband after a romance spanning six years.

Miles Bridges has been dating Mychelle Johnson for a very long time. Scott Johnson, the head coach of the West Virginia Thunder Amateur Athletic Union Team, is her Father. 

Mychelle is a basketball player as well. As a St. Joseph Catholic High School basketball team member, Johnson joined Middle Tennessee State University, where she continued playing basketball. Michelle spent one year at Middle Tennessee State University before relocating to Marshall.
