Michelle Bolsonaro is the third and current spouse of Jair Bolsonaro. Her full name is Michelle de Paula Firmo Reinaldo Bolsonaro.

Michelle is a former First Lady of Brazil from 2019 to 2022. She was born and raised in Ceilândia, an administrative region of the Federal District.

Bolsonaro’s father is Paulo Negão, a retired bus driver. Her father and stepmother, Maísa, are owners of an event confection and small business.

The former First Lady has a younger stepbrother, Diego de Paula Reinaldo. He is a member of the Brazilian Air Force.

Michelle tied the knot with former president Bolsonaro on November 28, 2007. The couple married in a party house in Alto da Boa Vista, Rio de Janeiro.

As a former lady, Michelle has highlighted social causes related to people with disabilities, digital inclusion, awareness of autism, the inclusion of sign language in schools, and other social projects.

Bolsonaro is the first Brazilian first lady to speak at the Palácio do Planalto parliamentary office during a presidential inauguration. She did it in sign language.
