His brother, Ciaran Duff paid tribute to the musician by sharing the cheerful picture on his Instagram account@ciandraduff11, writing his brother and best friend had passed away a day before, and he will remember him, and it won’t ever be the same without him.

Dumfries-born Jamie was best known as a famous DJ on the Ibiza club circuit, playing for We Love… at Space, Steve Lawler’s Warriors party, and Nic Fanciulli’s Dance Or Die residency.

Roy, who was originally from Dumfries, made his name in Glasgow and went on to perform all over the world.
