Twenty-eight years old, American professional baseball pitcher Josh Hader plays for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball and is a four-time All-Star and three-time winner of the National League Reliever of the Year Award.

It was in 2011 and 2012 when his homophobic and racist tweets surfaced all over the internet, which stained his personality as his opinions could have severe effects on society.

Josh Hader’s racist, sexist and homophobic tweets were all online as people were very angry and disturbed by what he said.

He tweeted “white power,” “I hate gay people,” and another referenced wanting women only for sex, cooking, and cleaning.

After tweeting such unacceptable things, he received a huge backlash and apologized for what he had revealed. He said he was just 17 back then when he tweeted about it.

He expressed being young and immature during that time for what he said. Even though what he said was not worthy of excuse, he said such an opinion does not reflect him now.

Josh’s tweets were back in 2011 and 2012 but are still on people’s minds as they deeply affected the sentiment of people from one of their favorite players. It has been more than ten years, but he still has stains in his work field.

Authorities found those tweets from the 2018 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

Due to the issue, Hader’s friends and family invited to the game were given blank jerseys to wear. After the game, Hader apologized and deleted his Twitter account.
