On April 22, 1990, Colson Baker was born in Houston, Texas, to his missionary parents, James Colson Baker and Sonia Alane Wating.
James, MGK’s father, served in the Kuwait army; thus, his family had to live there for a while.
It is known that Kellz has English, German, Norwegian and Scottish ancestry.
Sadly, Colson’s parents divorced when he was nine. Since his mother left home, MGK had to live with his father in his aunt’s house in Denver.
As a kid, Machine Gun Kelly was a rule-breaker and always troublesome. His father had to pay legal fees and bailed him out of jail multiple times.
James suffered from depression and unemployment, so MGK was mostly left, independent.
