The CNN report also claims that Mark Robinson had cheated on his wife, Yolanda Hill, with her sister, allegedly named Tuwanda Brunson.

Once, there were “concerns” about Balanced Nutrition, a government contracting business based in Greensboro run by Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson’s wife, Yolanda Hill.

Ms. Hill-Robinson signed IRS documents stating that Balanced Nutrition’s board and key employees, including Yolanda Hill Robinson, did not have family relationships.

However, the documents showed that Yolanda Hill and Mark Robinson’s son and son-in-law were listed on IRS forms as board members or key employees for multiple years.

In 2018 and 2019, Tuwanda Brunson was identified as Balanced Nutrition’s “board chairman” on its IRS filings. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, Cassaundra Spinks was listed as a “key employee.”

Based on the findings, Spinks seemed to be Yolanda Hill’s mother. They also found that Tuwanda Brunson is Cassaundra Spinks’s daughter and lived with her, which suggests that Brunson is Yolanda Hill’s sister.

State investigators discovered that Yolanda Hill broke federal law by failing to reveal that family members were among the highest earners at the non-profit. As a result, she announced that the charity would be closing down.
