According to her husband, John Easterling, “Dame Olivia Newton-John passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time,” as stated on her social media platforms.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2017, metastasizing to the sacrum. She completed photon radiation therapy and wellness therapies after consultation with the medical team at Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
Olivia has been married twice in her lifetime, and her boyfriend Patrick McDermott is popularly known for his disappearance during their relationship back in the 1990s.
