Pam Shriver’s second husband, George Lazenby, is a former model and actor from Australia.

In the Eon Productions film series, he was the second actor to play fictitious British secret agent James Bond, appearing in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Lazenby’s time as Bond is the shortest of the series’ performers, having starred in only one film.

Lazenby, who began his professional career as a model, had only appeared in advertisements until being recruited to replace original Bond actor Sean Connery. 

George declined to reprise his role in later Bond films, instead pursuing roles in films like Universal Soldier (1971), Who Saw Her Die? (1972), The Man from Hong Kong (1975), and The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977).

After his career halted during this time, he went into business and invested in real estate.

Lazenby later played parodies of the James Bond persona. Becoming Bond, a 2017 Hulu docudrama film, featured Lazenby narrating his life narrative and portrayal of Bond.

Pam Shriver, who was born on July 4, first picked up a tennis racket when she was three years old. The middle child of Sam and Margot Shriver had early promise in a sport she grew up watching her parents and grandparents participate in.
