Rico Swavey got into a dreadful car crash on Tuesday, October 11, leading to a coma. After a battle with his injuries, he ultimately passed away on October 13, Thursday.

It happened in the early hours of Tuesday at Abraham Adesanya roundabout, Lekki-Epe Expressway.

His management had shared a video of the grim accident scene involving Rico’s white car and an 18-seater bus. The footage showed his vehicle seriously damaged, with the front destroyed and the windshield shattered. We can only imagine how terrible the accident must have been.

Rico’s friends and colleagues, Alex Unusual and Tobi Bakare confirmed the death news via social media. Alex wrote on Twitter: “This is not what we agreed, Rico. Rest in peace.” Likewise, Tobi shared a picture captioning it: “This is how I will remember you, brother.”

The Big Brother star was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. They referred him to a larger hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries. However, the accident, unfortunately, proved to be fatal.
