Both her parents grew up in Cleveland and needed a change of scenery. Since her mother adored the mountains, the family agreed and relocated to the mountain area.

They worked in the dairy annex at the backyard terrain park. Their animal dwelling was later remodeled for Tieghan’s business.

Tieghan Gerard’s mom is a Co-owner and also manages the business side of Half Baked Harvest, from sponsorships to accounting.

She credits her mother for keeping the blog thriving and completing the redesign.

Likewise, Conard Gerard is a managing director at MountainView Securities, LLC. 

Blogger has six siblings: three elder brothers, two younger brothers, and a younger sister.

Gerard’s parents adopted a newborn, adding one more to the Gerard family in October 2020. They named him Oslo James Gerard. 

Since the author came from a large family, she started helping out in the kitchen to manage some mealtime chaos and get dinner on the table at a reasonable hour.

She quickly realized how much she enjoyed it and soon took over cooking duties for her family full-time.

However, Tieghan previously had planned to go to school for styling and fantasized about being a beautician.

Gerard comes from a large family consisting of his parents and seven siblings: Tieghan, Crieghton, Trevor, Asher, Malachi, Brendan, and Oslo.

His parents supported him in his career as an athlete. Mr. Gerard’s family is well-versed in their businesses.

The snowboarder competed in the slalom and big air events for the United States at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Gerard won a gold medal for his performance in the competition.

In 2017, he ranked 1st overall in Slopestyle at the FIS Snowboard World Championships.

Mr. Gerard also won the first gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics and was the youngest American to win a medal in snowboarding at the Olympics.

Furthermore, the Olympian won the Toyota Grand Prix in 2019 in Mammoth, California. He also won the Burton US Open in men’s singles.
