Spencer has also completed 30 passes in a game twice and passed for a career-high 387 yards in 2020’s matchup with Kansas State. He was named the Joe Morrison Offensive Player of the Spring after throwing five touchdowns passed against Western Carolina in 2021 and having three other games with four TD passes.

High School Career Of Spencer Rattler

Rattler attended Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, Arizona, for his final four years of high school. He beat Arizona’s prior high school graduation rate on his 18th birthday. Rattler gained 1,040 yards on the ground and scored 14 touchdowns in four years while also passing 11,083 yards and 116 scores. Early in his senior year, he took home the MVP trophy for the Elite 11 at The Opening in Texas.

During his senior year at Pinnacle, Rattler made an appearance in the Netflix sports documentary series QB1: Beyond the Lights. After violating a district code of conduct, Rattler was later prohibited from playing for the rest of the season.

When asked about the basis of the code of conduct infraction, the school administration later urged him not to mention that he had initially claimed to have a sprained MCL. He had 14 offers from NCAA Division I institutions at the end of his sophomore year of high school, including Alabama, Notre Dame, and Miami.

On June 19, 2017, Spencer made an unofficial trip to Oklahoma. A week later, he committed the state.
