Jonathan Walker, another rugby league player, is his twin brother.
His brother Johnathan has previously played for the Castleford Tigers, Hull Kingston Rovers, Bradford Bulls, Leigh Centurions, and Darlington Point Roosters.
Johnathan began his career with the Castleford Tigers. He was sent out to Gateshead Thunder in 2009, where he made seven appearances.
