Ainsley Earhardt Mother Dale Earhardt: How Did She Die?

When Ainsley arrived on the set of Fox & Friends on Monday morning (October 24, 2022), she was ready to discuss more than just the regular trending news. She shared with her viewers and fans that she had lost her mother over the weekend.

Ainsley’s mother, Dale Elise Giles Earhardt, passed away on October 22, 2022, at 72. Many were surprised to see the news Journalist back to work in just two days. However, she assured that it is what her mother would have wanted and said that Dale is “at peace.” 

Dale struggled with multiple medical conditions before her passing. About a week before her death, their Father had contacted Ainsley and her siblings to inform them of their mother’s declining health. 

When Dale was 39, she was diagnosed with diabetes. After suffering a stroke in February 2018, she was placed on dialysis. Furthermore, Ainsley shared that her mother also had gallbladder issues.

Ainsley acknowledged that her mother was the support system of the family and was also responsible for instilling strong faith in them. According to her, Dale loved the Lord and taught her children to do the same.

Dale worked as a teacher for 33 years. In March 2016, shortly after Ainsley joined the Fox & Friends team, Dale was brought on to the show to cook her pimento cheese dish.

Ainsley was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, U.S., to her parents, Dale Elise Giles Earhardt and Lewie Wayne Earhardt

Her parents were married for over 50 years before Dale’s death; together, they had three children and four grandchildren.

When she was a young child, she lived with her family in the Foxcroft area of Charlotte, North Carolina, and they later moved to the Columbia, South Carolina, area. 

After graduating from Spring Valley High School, Ainsley attended Florida State University before graduating with a B.A. in journalism from the University of South Carolina.

Ainsley was married to Kevin McKinney in April 2005, but they divorced after four years in 2009.

After a few years, she married former Clemson University quarterback Will Proctor in October 2012. Ainsley and Will have one child named Hayden Dubose Proctor. Her second marriage also ended in 2019 following allegations that Will had been unfaithful.

According to Vanity Fair, Ainsley started dating fellow Fox News personality Sean Hannity in August 2019. The two reportedly arrived as guests for a wedding in Bedminster, New Jersey, and moved in together during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Ainsley denies being in any relationship.
