Akhilesh Yadav’s Father, Mulayam Singh Yadav Death Cause, Family And History

Mulayam Singh Yadav, the Father of Akhilesh Yadav, passed away at 82.

The former federal defense minister had been admitted to a private hospital near Delhi for more than a fortnight.
He was placed on a ventilator after his condition deteriorated. On Monday morning, his son and political successor, Akhilesh Yadav, announced his Father’s death.

Politicians from all parties, public figures, and public members have paid tribute to one of India’s political stalwarts.
With a tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the tributes, recalling his meetings with the veteran leader.

Akhilesh Yadav, the Party’s chief and Yadav’s son confirmed the leader’s death on Twitter. “Mere adarniya pitaji aur sabke netaji nahi rahe – Akhilesh Yadav,” he said from the Party’s official Twitter account.

Former UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav dies at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram: Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of the Samajwadi Party, died on Monday while being treated at Medanta hospital in Gurugram. He was 82. For the past few weeks, the SP patriarch’s condition had been “quite critical,” and he was on life-saving drugs.

Malti Devi was Mulayam Singh Yadav’s first wife. She died in 2003 after complications during the birth of their first child, Akhilesh Yadav. Malti Devi was killed while in a vegetative state.

Yadav then married Sadhana Yadav, with whom he had Prateek Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav’s half-brother.
During Indira Gandhi’s Emergency in 1975, he was arrested and imprisoned for 19 months. 

In 1977, he was appointed as a state minister, and in 1980, he was elected President of the Lok Dal in Uttar Pradesh, which later merged with the Janata Dal.
He was the Opposition Leader in the UP Legislative Council from 1982 to 1985. When the Lok Dal Party split, he formed the Krantikari Morcha, a UP coalition.
He currently represents the Lok Sabha constituency of Mainpuri and has previously represented the constituencies of Azamgarh and Sambhal. In May 2019, he was elected for the fourth time from the Mainpuri Constituency.
