De Ante Green was arrested Friday for his role in a shooting at Plato’s Villas at San Marcos Apartments. Officers arrived at the West Tharpe St. flats to find two individuals deceased inside a unit.

De Ante Green As A Suspect: What Happened?
The Tallahassee Police Department responded to a gunshot just before 8 pm Friday at Plato’s Villas at San Marcos Apartments, located at 2400 W. Tharpe Street.
Despite being nearly three miles from campus, the apartments are billed as “Tallahassee’s top Student Housing accommodation.”
Officers arrived at the scene to find two individuals dead inside an apartment.

No additional information was offered, and the matter “remains open and active.”
According to preliminary findings, it was an isolated event with no known threat to public safety. The investigators were working hard to solve the case with all people involved who had come forward.
According to a Tallahassee Democrat gun violence investigation, 15 people have been murdered. At least 61 have been injured in 87 shootings in the capital city and county this year.

De Ante Green Arrest Charges: Is He In Jail?
Green faces two counts of murder and two counts of home invasion robbery. According to TPD, the probable cause document for the case has been sealed as part of the continuing investigation.
According to TPD spokesman Alicia Hill, detectives are looking for other suspects in an ongoing investigation.
She stated that further arrests were still being made.
According to Hill and court documents, court records have been sealed, including the probable cause and arrest warrant.
Green is the first suspect detained in the incident where TPD Police discovered two males dead inside Plato’s Villas at San Marcos, 2400 W. Tharpe Street, in northwest Tallahassee.
The apartments bill themselves as “Tallahassee’s best Student Housing accommodation.”
The probable cause in this instance has been sealed as part of the ongoing investigation.
Twitter Reaction On De Ante Green Homicide
On September 10, Tallahassee Police stated on Twitter that they were conducting a double homicide investigation in the aftermath of a shooting at Plato’s Villas at San Marcos Apartments.
The Tallahassee Police have also notified through Twitter that De Ante Green was arrested on Friday, September 16, for his involvement in the double killing on September 9.
The officials also revealed that Green was charged with home invasion robbery and two counts of murder, and the probable cause, in that case, was sealed as part of the ongoing investigation.
Tallahassee Police said they received a 911 call about gunfire fired from the apartment complex.
