Gabby’s family ethnicity is half African-American and half Creole, while her nationality is American.

Smith’s family ethnicity information has been questioned because it is at odds with her publicly shared details.

Additionally, she claims to be of African-American and Filipino descent, which seems more likely considering her name contains both a French and Spanish prefix.

The disagreement over Smith’s family ethnicity may be due to people confusing her first name with her surname; also, Filipinos are considered Asian rather than Hispanic or Latino in some countries.
