With such a demanding schedule, Stefani’s workout must be quick, efficient, and effective. The busy parent recently claimed that she only goes to the gym four times weekly, with each session lasting roughly an hour or longer.
Stefani revealed during the cardio portion of her workout that she plays tennis with Blake Shelton.
Mike Heatlie, Stefani’s former long-term trainer, recently told Shape Magazine that a high-intensity weight training routine paired with quality cardiovascular training works wonders in getting Stefani’s results.
He recommended performing four to five exercises without pause between sets, followed by “one to three minutes of high-intensity aerobic activity.”
Full dumbbell squats, standing lateral shoulder raises, kettlebell swings, and unbalanced lunges are just a few available routines.

Stefani attributes her efficient, demanding diet and workout routine to trainer Mike Heatlie and Beverly Hills personal trainer Gunnar Peterson.
Stefani asked for vitamin drinks, soy milk, organic veggies like beets, carrots, celery, and spinach, nuts like almonds and cashews, and fruits like plums and melons and bananas.
While Gwen hasn’t always been open about her nutrition, she has been vocal about her vegan diet. She does not consume processed meals, meat, or animal products (so no cheese, eggs, or honey).
Instead, she prioritizes organic veggies, nutritious grains, and vegan protein sources such as nuts, tofu, and others.
Gwen gets her meal as close to the source as possible. She prefers fresh-from-the-farm vegetables wherever possible.
The good news is that you don’t have to have a steely determination to be like Gwen. She recognizes that even the best personal trainers must indulge from time to time. Gwen will have a dish that isn’t quite as nutritious once or twice a week.
