Ricki-Lee Dawn Coulter, popularly known by her stage name Ricki-Lee, is an Australian singer, composer, and presenter for television and radio who was born in New Zealand.

She was raised on the Gold Coast in Queensland and was born in Auckland, New Zealand. At the age of 15, she started performing.

Coulter gained notoriety in 2004 when she competed on Australian Idol’s second season and finished seventh.

The singer and Australia’s Got Talent host spoke candidly about her decision and the public’s response in a recent interview with Stellar Magazine.

Although it would seem normal to be curious, the singer has been forced to discuss her decision regularly since then due to the inescapable inquiries about when she will give birth.

In 2014, Rikki-Lee explained to Fitzy and Wippa how her life experience had influenced her choice. She explained that coming from a large family, she felt she had already experienced enough childrearing.

The stunning Ricki-Lee Coulter lost an amazing 30 kg and went from a size 14 to a size 8 back in 2009! Over the weekend, the singer-songwriter held a brief Q&A on Instagram when she revealed her weight-loss secret.

The singer followed a nearly carb-free diet, eating mostly fruit, vegetables, chicken, and fish with red meat only once a week! According to Ricki-Lee, who follows a strict daily schedule, she eats the same breakfast and lunch every day but varies her dinner.

Ricki’s morning snakcs consist of a banana and coffee with soy milk, with nectarine, orange, or red seedless grapes serving as a nutritious mid-morning snack. Lunch consists of a salad, hummus, cherry tomatoes, pickled onions, and canned tuna with ginger sauce drizzled over it.

For dinner, she alternates between grilled chicken with Buffalo sauce, guacamole- and spicy sauce-topped Mexican chicken salad bowls, peanut butter chicken in lettuce cups or with broccoli, and Thai red chicken curry with vegetables.

She either eats a steak with green beans and grilled cherry tomatoes on her designated weekly red meat day or lamb cutlets with lemon broccolini and sweet potato.

This, combined with drinking 3–4 litres of water each day, appears to be the key to her weight loss!

Who is Ricki Lee Husband?

Coulter first met Gold Coast builder Jamie Babbington when she was 15 years old. Babbington was 23 years old at the time. After a year or so, they allegedly “started dating seriously.”

On September 7, 2007, Coulter and Babbington were wed in Canungra, Queensland, at an undisclosed location.

Coulter changed her name to Ricki-Lee Babbington by adopting her husband’s last name. Five weeks were spent by the couple on their honeymoon in the Maldives.

The separation was caused by “distance and time apart,” according to a statement made public by Coulter’s publicist on 18 October 2008, the following year.

Three years after the marriage ended, Coulter disclosed that she had struggled with depression while dating Babbington in an interview with Jonathan Moran of the Herald Sun.

Coulter started dating her manager Richard Harrison in September 2009, and the two made their relationship public in August 2010. Coulter said she was pleased to be a size 14 lady and was known as a role model for curvaceous girls before she met Harrison.

Since then, she has shed nearly 30 kg, downsizing to a size 8. The pair made their engagement public in the New Idea magazine edition on January 7, 2013.

Coulter and Harrison wed at the Château Bouffémont in Paris, France, on August 5, 2015, following a two-year engagement. Coulter wore her wedding gown to grace the cover of New Idea’s edition from August 17, 2015.

Coulter has said, “So many of my followers, supporters, and closest friends identify as gay.” She also supports the LGBT community.

She has provided entertainment at numerous gay nightclubs and LGBT-related gatherings throughout the years, including the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Coulter has long defended LGBT rights and causes, including same-sex unions in Australia.
