Jessi Combs Death Cause

Jessi Combs died on August 27, 2019, aged 39, due to a severe accident. Her accident occurred while trying to set a land speed record in a high-powered car in the North American Eagle Project on a dry lake base in the Alvord Desert, Oregon.

After the failure of a front wheel, the accident occurred along with hitting an object in the desert. It was obvious that the person would not survive in the car as it collapsed at a speed nearing 523 mph (842 km/h).

After the crash, the cause of death was regarded as “blunt force trauma to the head,” which severely injured her. After a huge blow, her car hit the Fire that engulfed the race vehicle.

Along with the final race, Combs was posthumously awarded the female land-speed world record by Guinness World Records in June 2020.
