Josh Jacobs Illness And Health Update: Will Las Vegas Raiders RB Play?

Football fans are concerned about Josh Jacobs’s illness and health as they doubt he won’t be able to play for Sunday’s game.

Jacobs has 29 carries after two games, putting him well ahead of any other Las Vegas player. He has 126 yards on the ground this season but has yet to score.

He has added 28 yards by catching both of his targets. Because he is only suffering from a minor illness, he should be able to play in Sunday’s game.

In Week 3, the Las Vegas Raiders will travel. On September 25, they head east to face the Tennessee Titans.

There is still one day of practice left, but Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was out from Thursday’s session because of illness. Brandon Bolden and Ameer Abdullah are likely his backups if he cannot play.

He should be able to play in Sunday’s game because he only suffers from a slight illness. If Jacobs is unexpectedly inactive, Bolden would be an appealing flex option.

Jacobs worked out fully on Wednesday, so his addition to the injury list on Thursday is significant. Expect more information about the running back’s Week 3 status to be released no later than Friday’s injury report, ahead of Sunday’s game against the Titans.

If Jacobs is sidelined or limited this weekend, Brandon Bolden, Ameer Abdullah, and Zamir White are potential replacements in the backfield.

Running back Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders has been ruled out of the team’s Week 17 game against the Indianapolis Colts due to an undisclosed ailment. He was seen heading towards the changing room after entering the medical tent.

Given that the dynamic tailback has already affected the game, this would be an early blow for the Raiders. He has six carries for 31 yards and a touchdown as Vegas holds a 7-0 lead in this crucial late-season AFC showdown.

The third-year running back from Alabama hasn’t been as good as in his first two seasons with the team, but he’s still been productive. Jacobs has 175 carries for 677 yards and seven touchdowns through 13 games this season. He has also recorded 48 receptions for 319 yards.

As a rookie at Alabama in 2016, Josh Jacobs played sparingly with Damien Harris and Bo Scarbrough, rushing 85 times for four touchdowns and 567 yards.

In 2017, Jacobs had 284 yards on 46 attempts and one touchdown as a sophomore. After the season, it was found that he had spent the majority of the season playing on a broken ankle.

Josh was voted the SEC Championship Game MVP as a junior after rushing for 83 yards and two scores against the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Oakland Raiders selected Jacobs with the 24th overall choice in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Josh was selected with one of the first-round picks acquired from the Chicago Bears as part of the Khalil Mack trade in September 2018. On July 9, 2019, he signed a four-year rookie contract with the organization.

Jacobs made his NFL debut on Monday Night Football in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.

The footballer became the first running back in Raiders history to dash for 1,000 yards in a rookie season in Week 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Due to a shoulder injury and a skin infection, he missed three of the season’s final four games.
