Derek Carr of the Raiders might have mentioned replacing Jacobs if he will not be active in his practice or participate in games as usual. But Jacobs has a 4-year contract with the Raiders, so he can’t be replaced at least this year.

NFL reported that the injury that knocked Waller out during the game with Dallas Cowboys was a strained iliotibial band in his knee.

Although Waller’s knee didn’t cause a season-ending injury such as torn ACL, he left the game against Dallas Cowboys after getting tackled during the second quarter. He did not return, but the Raiders scored a victory by a 36-33 score and won over Dallas. 

NFL also mentioned that Waller would be unavailable to join Sunday’s home game against the Washington Football Team.
