Lawrence Bishnoi Is Still Alive; Death Hoax Debunked- What Happened To Indian Punjabi Gangster?

According to reports, notorious criminal Lawrence Bishnoi is still alive. He had a thorough plan to kill the 57-year-old actor Salman Khan in the run-up to the assassination of Sidhu Moose Wala. 

Lawrence Bishnoi is a gang leader in North India and an Indian Punjabi criminal. He is presently detained in Tihar Prison.

According to the Delhi Police, Lawrence Bishnoi gang members had hired a room close to Salman Khan’s farmhouse for more than a month and had spied on him there.

According to the Delhi and Punjab Police, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi floated a “Plan B” months before the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in May of this year.

Bishnoi’s first sensational plot to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan was uncovered in 2018 after the arrest of the latter’s associate Sampat Nehra.

In Mumbai, three members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang set up shop close to Salman Khan’s Panvel farm. The trio followed the actor’s car to learn more, and they also befriended the security personnel at his home by feigning interest in him.

Lawrence Bishnoi is alive and is currently detained by the Tihar Police. He is facing twenty criminal proceedings, including ones for murder and extortion, but he has refuted these accusations.

According to multiple sources, the Bishnoi gang purportedly employs 700 shooters in 5 different Indian states and has connections abroad.

Bishnoi entered the criminal underworld in Chandigarh after many FIRs were filed against him for offenses like trespassing, assault, robbery, and attempted murder between 2010 and 2012.

These incidents were all connected to Bishnoi’s participation in student politics. Four of the seven Chandigarh FIRs filed against him resulted in his acquittal, and the other three cases are still ongoing.

Explaining further, Bishnoi formed relationships with criminals when he was incarcerated, and following his release, he met with gun dealers and other local criminals.

Throughout his schooling at Panjab University, his gang grew in size. When his friend was defeated in the elections, Lawrence even attacked the SOPU winner.

What Happened To Indian Punjabi Gangster?

Lawrence, the Indian Punjabi gangster, is facing more than 20 charges and is being detained by the Tihar Police force. 

According to Delhi Police, Lawrence’s gang conspired to kill Salman Khan before killing Sidhu Moose Wala, as the last shooter of Sidhu Moose Wala’s killing case was arrested.

Sidhu Moose Wala, a Punjabi singer, was shot and killed in Mansa, Punjab, on May 29, 2022.

A Canadian-Indian mobster Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the shooting hours after the assassination and stated that he had planned the operation with Bishnoi.

Police speculated that Bishnoi’s gang might have carried out the shooting. However, Bishnoi was in the Delhi Tihar Jail at the time of the shooting.

Later, Bishnoi was given a 5-day detention order by the Delhi Police Special Cell for an inquiry.

But, Bishnoi filed a petition in the Delhi High Court shortly after Moose Wala’s murder, claiming that he feared for his life and a staged encounter with the Punjab Police.

He demanded that he be restrained appropriately and handcuffed and that the Delhi Police and the Tihar Jail Authority protect his safety. Later, he withdrew that petition to the Delhi High Court. Later, he filed his plea with the High Court of Punjab and Haryana. 

Lawrence Bishnoi Personal Life

Bishnoi was born to his parents on February 12, 1991. He grew up in a well-off agricultural family of a former Police constable in the village of Dutaranwali in Abohar, Ferozpur, Punjab.

He completed his secondary education in Abohar before relocating to Chandigarh in 2010 to attend DAV College, Chandigarh’s sector 10.

In 2011 and 2012, he quickly rose to President of the Student Organization of Panjab University (SOPU).

Bishnoi made two attempts to complete his bachelor’s degree in arts but failed. Further, he was even caught using exam cheating. He graduated from Panjab University with an LLB.
