Stannis Baratheon, the Lord of Dragonstone, is a fictional character adapted from American series of fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire, written by George R. R. Martin, and its television adaptation, Game of Thrones.

The frictional character is the second son of Steffon Baratheon and Cassandra Estermont and the brother of Robert, lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Renly, lord of Storm’s End.

Stannis serves on Robert’s small council as the master of ships. In the television adaptation of Game of Thrones, Stannis is played by Stephen Dillane.

Besides being Lord of Dragonstone, he is the head of House Baratheon of Dragonstone. The character is an accomplished commander, sailor, and warrior with no thirst for battle, commanding from the rear.

Who Is Stannis Baracheon’s Daughter?

Stannis Baratheon’s daughter is Shireen Baratheon, a noblewoman of House Baratheon of Dragonstone.

Shireen is the only daughter of Lord Stannis Baratheon and Lady Selyse Florent. In the television adaptation of Game of Thrones, she is portrayed by Kerry Ingram.

His daughter was born at Dragonstone in 289 AC. Shireen is nine years old when introduced in A Song of Ice and Fire.

Greyscale scars Stannis’s Daughters’ Face?

Shireen acquired Greyscale as a young child. She was deformed by the illness, which nearly took her life. The maester of Dragonstone, Cressen, believes that her melancholy shreds of evidence are his failure.

Most of Greyscale’s neck, and the left half of her cheek, are covered in stony-feeling gray and black skin that is broken and flaking. As a baby, Princess Shireen Baratheon endured a battle.

Shireen was scared of the disease Greyscale affects children, especially in cold, damp climates mainly in Cold; humid climates like the Iron Islands and Dragonstone are also prone to the disease, which is a danger for those traveling down the Rhoyne through the Sorrows. 

One of the numerous virulent illnesses widespread in Sothoryos can leave the skin cracked and flaking, the flesh rigid and dead, and the body’s surface mottled with black, grey, and stone-like colors.  

According to sources, Val of the free folk is terrified of Shireen because of her greyscale scars and informs Jon Snow that she should slay the youngster since she is “not clean” and a threat to others.

What Happened To Stannis Daughters?

 The Greyscale that Stannis’s daughter contracted as an infant and was thought to be a death sentence has left scars on the left side of her face.

Lord of Dragonstone was determined to help her and sought out every healer he could find on both sides of the Narrow Sea.

 Through the combination of their efforts, Stannis managed to succeed, though the left side of her face was permanently scarred.

Surprises for the fans, Shireen told Stannis how she had developed Greyscale after playing with a doll he had acquired from a Dornish merchant.

To save his daughter’s life when she was ill, her Father called every maester, pharmacist, and healer he could locate. Shireen embraces her Father in excitement, and he does the same.

Shireen gives her Father a tender embrace following her sacrifice to R’hllor; however, Stannis begs her forgiveness.
