Valeria Wasserman is a Brazilian native law graduate, linguist, translator, and entrepreneur.

She has translated from research papers to full books, including works by David Lehman and Dianne Newell.

After pursuing degrees in law and languages, Valeria Wasserman initially worked for a Brazilian bank and several other firms.

Both of his parents worked in the education sector, his father was a Hebrew scholar, and his mother was a teacher. He was the elder son of the family alongside his younger brother, David Chomsky.

  1. Thank you for informing us about Noam Chomsky’s part-time position at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He probably finds the weather more agreeable than in Boston!
    Chomsky remains active despite his age of 92 years. He recently spoke out against infringement of U.S. First Amendment along with J.K. Rowling, Wynton Marsalis, Margaret Atwood, and Salman Rushdie. I hope voices on the left will listen to him.
