Who Are Martin Duque’s Parents, Daisy Duque And Martin Sr.?

Martin Duque was born to his parents, Daisy Duque And Martin Sr., The victim was a proud son of Mexican immigrants. 

According to Facebook, his parents worked in the agricultural industry, were one of five siblings, and were part of a big loving family.

His family immigrated here to give their children a better life and not bury their son at 14 after being shot in school in one of the “safest” towns in the country.

The victim, Martin, was raised in a loving, supportive family of seven who excelled in academics and mirrored his loyalty to God in his friendships.

Martin was among three JRTOC cadets honored by the U.S. Army Cadet Command after the shooting.

How Many People Did Nicholas Cruz Kill?

On February 14, 2018, Martin Duque Anguiano, 14, was killed in a hallway at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

The culprit pleaded guilty to all 17 counts of premeditated murder and 17 counts of attempted murder in the 2018 shootings.

According to Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer, Count two of 17 in the penalty phase is for the murder of Martin Duque, who Nikolas Cruz killed on February 14, 2018, at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Records show that Coral Springs Fire Rescue four pronounced Duque dead in an ambulance.

Martin Duque’s Murderer Nicholas Cruz Charges

Based on the hearing on October 13, 2022, the prosecutors seeking the death penalty for the Parkland school shooter presented an expert who diagnosed the Parkland school shooter with antisocial personality disorder and sociopathy.

Per the defense, Nikolas Cruz suffered from alcohol-related neurodevelopmental disorder because of his biological mother’s consumption while pregnant.

The prosecution started rebuttal on September 27, called seven witnesses during four days in court, and rested on Thursday afternoon. However, Hurricane Ian delayed the trial.

On Monday, September 19, 2022, at the Broward County Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, Assistant Public Defender Melisa McNeill testifies at a hearing in the penalty phase of the trial of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooter Nikolas Cruz.

The defense filed a motion asking Judge Elizabeth Scherer to recuse herself based on comments she made in court when lead defense attorney Melisa McNeill announced the defense’s intention to rest their case last week.

Melisa is working to save the Parkland school shooter’s life and rested their case on September 14 after calling 26 witnesses during 11 days of testimony.
