In October, Governor’s office declared that 42 years Casey DeSantis was diagnosed with breast Cancer. However, her undergone Cancer treatment had been stepped from the public eye.

But despite the attempt of the DeSantises to control the bulk of therapy without publicity, critics speculated why the Governor was hiding from the public eye late last year.

However, recently in 2022, Florida first lady Casey DeSantis was officially announced as cancer-free through the video announcement posted by the Governor posted on Thursday. The video was published in an app named Rumble. 

In a recorded message, Governor Ron DeSantis said, “After undergoing treatment and surgery for breast Cancer, Casey DeSantis is finally considered Cancer free. I’m sure she will recover soon.” He also thanked the public for praying for his wife’s health. 

In December, She made an appearance at Tampa’s Moffitt Cancer Center to announce her husband was appealing $100 million for Cancer research and care.

However, $37 million was increased over current funding after his proposed budget. As part of budget negotiations, the legislator connoted that request and named the fund after Casey DeSantis. At the same time, the exact budget has not been finalized.

Similarly, in a recent interview, Casey claimed that she was truly blessed, humbled, and grateful to hear that she is Cancer free. She also asked those people who are in a fight not to lose hope and stay strong having faith.
