Dane Jackson, who suffered from a neck injury, is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a death hoax. Fortunately, it appears that the rumor is entirely false.

Television cameras captured some supporters praying in the stands during the Bills’ home opener as the incident quieted the rowdy crowd.

Dane Jackson, who had a neck injury, is the most recent celebrity to be tricked into believing he has died.

Jackson, a Buffalo Bills cornerback, suffered a neck injury in a collision with a teammate on Monday night and was brought to the hospital for treatment.

Jackson had complete limb movement, but coach Sean McDermott provided no further information on the player’s condition following a 41-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Before the ambulance left for the hospital, McDermott claimed he had a brief conversation with Jackson in the stadium tunnel.

Jordan Poyer, a safety for the Bills, claimed that Jackson texted him after the game to let him know he was fine.

Jackson suffered an injury against the Tennessee Titans late in the second quarter. After a 12-yard catch, he slammed receiver Treylon Burks with a backward tackle. Tremaine Edmunds, a linebacker, dove in late and smacked Jackson in the head while he was lying on Burks’ back. After the accident, Jackson’s neck suddenly jerked back.

Running back Hassan Haskins for the Titans separated Jackson from Burks after the play. Jackson beat the ground with his right arm while lying face down.

Where Is Dane Jackson Now? His Surgery Details

After a frightening collision with a teammate during Buffalo’s 41-7 victory against the Tennessee Titans, Bills starting cornerback Dane Jackson was examined for a neck injury at a nearby hospital on Monday night.

According to the Bills, Jackson was receiving a CT scan and an X-ray at the Erie County Medical Center and had complete movement in his limbs.

Sean McDermott, the coach, stated that they are still waiting for information and sending prayers for Dane and all of the injured Bills players. He added that seeing Dane get loaded into the ambulance was a heartbreaking experience.

Jackson was moving his legs during the game, so it was postponed for about ten minutes as team trainers responded to him. Then, Dane was loaded onto a stretcher and driven in an ambulance through the stadium tunnel.

As Jackson received care, teammates encircled him, and Edmunds stayed close practically the entire time.

Jackson received a CT scan and an X-ray at the Erie County Medical Center, according to the Bills, who also reported that he had complete limb movement.

McDermott had no new information regarding the injuries sustained by the Bills. Thus, the specifics of the surgery have not yet been made public.

Twitter Reactions To Dane Jackson Incident

Jackson’s neck and head were sickeningly stretched backward as he lay on Burks’ back when linebacker Tremaine Edmunds jumped in late and smacked his teammate in the helmet.

To get Jackson out of the way of his teammate, Titans running back Hassan Haskins shoved the Bills player’s head.

Jackson was lying on the field when Haskins was seen on video rolling him over. “Uh, wtf is Hassan Haskins doing?” a user tweeted. “When Dane Jackson is hurt on the ground, he rolls Jackson over. Inexcusable.’

One more said: “I’ve never seen the other team sideline an injured player.”
