He is best known for his ‘You Are Beautiful’ project, which started in 2002 as a street art sticker campaign.

The project began with Hoffman distributing 100 stickers to friends, placing them in public spaces worldwide.

Hoffman initially remained anonymous, referring to the project as an ‘international collective.’

The project’s impact grew, and it’s estimated that over 8.5 million stickers have been placed in various locations worldwide, including all seven continents.

Some notable examples include a billboard-sized replica of the sticker on South Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, installations on fences in different neighborhoods, and artworks on the exterior of institutions like the Elmhurst Art Museum.
