Frankie Valli Illness: What Happened To Him?
Valli initially thought he had the flu after a COVID-19 test returned negative. However, he discovered on social media in mid-October that he had pneumonia, forcing him to postpone all his dates until 2021.
He revealed that he improved considerably after a couple of rounds of antibiotics. Still, the doctors informed him it would be a couple of months before he was fully recovered and ready to tour again.
Since October, the beloved Four Seasons leader has been battling pneumonia and its aftereffects.
The events slated for April 8 to April 10 this year have also been delayed due to his need for elective tear duct surgery.
Valli has gone through some personal challenges throughout the years.
He discovered he was losing his hearing due to otosclerosis, a hardening of the bone in the middle ear, in 1967. He was deaf until surgery in 1980 restored the majority of his hearing.

When Valli reported that he had pneumonia, there was an outpouring of support, including one remark that said, “Frank, you take your time, my friend.” You have given us so much.
Valli, thankfully, is healing steadily following his recovery.
