Jaime Yusept Espinal was born on October 14, 1984, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

When he was five years old, the athlete’s family moved to Puerto Rico.

As a result of the hard training ad dedication, the wrestler won gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
