His new high jump mark was 2.30 meters, while his new long jump record was 8.45 meters. The records for the long jump and high jump had never been broken simultaneously.

Juvaughn Krishna Harrison was born to Jamaican parents Dennis Anthony Blake and Georgia Harrison on April 30, 1999, in Huntsville, Alabama.

Harrison’s father, Dennis Anthony Blake, is a retired Jamaican sprinter, and his mother, Georgia Harrison, was also a gifted athlete.

Dennis competed in a number of international events, including the Summer Olympics in 1992, the Pan American Games in 1995, and the Summer Olympics in 1996.

He received a bronze medal in each of the Olympic events in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.

Juvaughn’s mother, Georgia, participated in the 100-meter sprint and 100-meter hurdles competitions during her college days.

She also participated in four All-American seasons during that time and competed as a hurdler and runner in the middle of the 1990s.

Georgia attended GC Foster College after completing her elementary and secondary school at St. Jago High School.

While living in Jamaica, she excelled as an athlete, especially in hurdling and running. She even participated in a number of sporting events.

Her excellence in athletic competition earned her an offer of a track scholarship from Alabama A&M University.

Juvaughn Harrison: Childhood And Early Career

Though Juvaughn Harrison parents were both great athletes, neither of them were particularly skilled jumpers.

In fact, his father, Dennis, was a sprinter, and his mother, Georgia, was a hurdler and runner.

Juvaughn Harrison parents also gave birth to his younger brother, Ky-Mani Harrison, who is currently a student at LSU, where he is majoring in sports management.

JuVaughn attended Columbia High School and later continued his studies at Louisiana State University.

He surpassed the seven-foot barrier four times while competing for Columbia High School in his senior year of high school.

Since then, he has been regarded as one of the most promising high jump prospects in the Class of 2017 in the United States.

He won the silver medal in the high jump at the 2017 New Balance Indoor Nationals, which were held at The Armory in New York City, with an indoor personal best of 7 ft and 0.14 inches.

Not only was he revealed to be the top-ranked high jumper in the Class of 2017 for the 2017 indoor season in the US, but he also received awards from AL.com for Huntsville Region Boys Athlete of the Year and the Huntsville Metro Coaches Association for Track & Field Athlete of the Year during the 2016–2017 academic year.
