On April 25, the influencer revealed in a TikTok video, “I recently gained 60 pounds.” I had a tremendously hard time accepting that I had a new body.

At first, Mikayla admitted, the reality of carrying 200 pounds on her 4′ 11″ frame was “very daunting,” but she later decided to “learn to embrace my body the way it is.”

The 24-year-old Noguiera stated that she created the new TikTok account to “record my journey of getting healthier.” She said that she has been seeking therapy and treatment for her eating condition for the past several weeks and wants to be “happy” with herself when she marries her fiancé, Cody, in a year.

The native of Massachusetts continued by saying that she would also be dropping weight, but “for health reasons,” not for purposes of appearance. She worries that the weight loss procedure may bring out hidden feelings because of her eating disorder.

Nogueira described her battle with bulimia in a video uploaded on TikTok in January. The influencer revealed that before relapsing in January 2021, she had been battling the eating issue for more than seven years.
