Since then, Choudhary became his coach and trained him at the professional level.

For the training, Chopra was admitted to the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex in Panchkula.

In addition, during his training at Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex, he was trained by coach Naseem Ahmad for long-distance running with the javelin throw.

Moreover, after his training, he had his first competitive match in Lucknow and won the 2012 junior nationals with a new national record throw of 68.40 meters.

After his recovery, he traveled to South Africa for training under German biomechanics expert Klaus Bartoneitz.

In addition, during his qualification, Chopra made a throw of 85 meters and was qualified for the Tokyo Olympiad in January 2020.
