The Parker family released a statement stating that Paul, who wed Sarah Jessica’s mother, Barbara, in 1969, passed away on Wednesday at 76.
The Sex and the City actress departed the fashion gala at the David H. Koch Theater at the Lincoln Center on Thursday shortly after arriving, where she was receiving recognition.
